NECA student chapters must submit their team registrations for the 2012 Green Energy Challenge to ELECTRI International by Wednesday, Feb. 1. Competition information and registration forms can be downloaded below.
The objective for the 2012 Green Energy Challenge is for student teams to select a facility on their campus and conduct an energy audit of the building’s power and lighting systems. Teams will then make energy retrofit and/or upgrade proposals based on the audit findings. The top three proposals will present their findings at NECA 2012 Las Vegas.
For the first time, 2012 Green Energy Challenge student teams will have access to NECAWORKSTM , an online energy economic modeling program developed for exclusively for NECA contractors. A demonstration webinar of NECAWORKSTM is scheduled for registered student teams on Feb. 6.
So get your registration forms in, because you don’t want to miss this year’s Green Energy Challenge!
